This will be the fourth annual Beaver Wine Festival held in beautiful downtown Beaver Pennsylvania. Beaver, nestled in the rolling hills of western PA, makes a superb venue for a wine festival with it’s many boutique shops and fine eateries. The wide thoroughfare and tree lined streets make an excellent backdrop to what is now the premier wine event in the Pittsburgh area. people wine fest 2015 4 If you have never made the excursion to visit this little island of perfection in Beaver County, the Wine Festival should be more than enough to woo you to spend the day in this lovely town.
Attendees must be 21 to participate. Valid I.D. Must be presented at check-in.

How the event works?

Each ticket holder can taste from hundreds of wines from fifteen of some the finest Pennsylvania wineries.

You will also receive a commemorative tasting glass a sturdy reusable wine tote, a tasting notepad to enter your favorites and wine pickup service throughout the day (3 bottle minimum) so there’s no need to carry your purchases around. Plus many other items from our fine sponsors.

This is a rain or shine event and participants must be 21 years of age or older. Tickets are limited. Tickets may not be available at the door so be sure to get your tickets early.

Ken Starr learned the art of making wine by his father’s side in 1952. When stationed in Europe in the early 60’s, Ken visited many wineries and appreciated the German style of wine making. He started making wine on his own from 1966 to 1977.

 

Starr Hill Vineyard and Winery is the first Winery in the Nation to  be located inside the largest retailer in the U.S , Walmart.
